I just got back from the National Association of Science Writers conference in Palo Alto. We saw many interesting talks on a variety of subjects. I’ll be posting the audio and video of a few of them over the next couple of days. To kick things off, here is one of Obama’s science advisors, Sharon Long of Stanford, talking about the role of science in the next administration. (Note: McCain’s science advisors declined the invitation to address the conference.)
Next up, audio from a talk by Jon Krosnick, director of Stanford’s Institute for Research in Social Sciences. Krosnick spoke about polling and inherent bias.
