This is the sound of the engine on my friend’s Vanagon–or maybe it’s a Eurovan. I turned it into a synthy-thing with yet another obnoxious filter sweep.

Tile saws can sound obnoxious and grating, but this one, properly filtered and LFO’d, sounds like outer space–if one could hear in outer space of course, which is impossible. Original sound is in the Live Set.

Here’s a cardboard packing tube with a rubber band stretched across it, looped, and run through a grain delay. Could be used for any type of Mr. Sparkle applications. Original sound in the Live Set.
